Victoria Beckham has said she feels “humbled” after speaking to frontline NHS workers helping to respond to the coronavirus pandemic.

The fashion designer shared clips with her 2.8 million Instagram followers from a video call she had with staff at Caithness General Hospital in Wick, Scotland.

“Yesterday I had the humbling opportunity to speak to an NHS team in Scotland,” Beckham captioned Saturday’s post.

“Please have a look and listen to what they are saying. They are so inspiring and we all need to do our part in staying home and helping these incredible workers and their colleagues on the frontline x VB.”

During the conversation, the former Spice Girl praised the hard work of NHS staff in tackling the virus and asked about the working conditions they currently face.

One of the staff members told Beckham that they are currently working 12-and-a-half-hour shifts, with face masks, gloves and aprons for protection.

Another added that many NHS workers have made the difficult decision to move away from their families in order to shield them from the virus.
